There is a lot talked about Transformational Leadership, but what does it mean, and how do we live it ? Transformational Leadership is not about rules, systems and processes. It is about challenging the status quo, being different and acting as a change agent. It is about doing work in a different way that is sustainable. Clients and staff have to see things being done differently. They also have to trust the leaders , and the leaders have to behave and act with authenticity. Sometimes we also need to actively promote the changes and transformations . Multiple subtle changes don’t always register with people unless they are perceived as major step changes . Building trust , being authentic and being dynamic are the cornerstone to transformational success.
